John Lewis Gaines, 75, of Westerville, passed away January 19, 2022.
John was born February 22, 1946 in Columbus, OH to Lewis and Eva (Thompson) Gaines.
He loved to preach and loved Jesus. John enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He always wanted to be outside and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
John will be deeply missed by his wife Bonnie (Terrill) of 27 years; children Jonette (Tom) Hurst, Grant (Michelle) Gaines, Nicki Gaines, Eric Vittorio; grandchildren Jacob Anderson, Logan Hurst, Gavin Gaines, Garrett Gaines, Milan Cardwell, Madelyn Cardwell, Jacob Vittorio, Kyle Vittorio, Ashley Vittorio, Isabella Vittorio; great-grandchildren Damon Vittorio; sister Tammy along with many other family and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, sister Cindy and friends Jim Lilly, Dave Leonard, Gary Siegwald.
