John Hike Sr., 66, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1943, in Portsmouth, son of the late Albert and Pearl Louise King Hike. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Hike and brother, Michael Hike. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. John is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ault Hike; son, John Hike Jr.; daughter, Phyllis "Debie" Cameron; brother, Charles "Jack" Hike; grandchildren, Travis Hike, C.J. Cameron, Cassie Cameron, Chloe Hike and Noelle Salyers. Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt.
