John J. Hill passed away in his home on November 22, 2023. John was born in Columbus Ohio and lived his life there.
John is preceded in death by his father, John H. Hill and mother, Maria Hill. John will be sadly missed by his sister Marie High, her husband Chet, niece Katherine Rhoad, and cousins, Robert and his wife Nancy, Joseph, and John Cordell.
In his work years, John worked as a Computer Programming Instructor, Computer Programmer Analyst, and as a Lab Technician.
John will be remembered for his overall kindness to others. John was a loving and full-time caregiver to both his parents and his grandmother in their final years of life and that kindness will be particularly cherished.
John had a bright mind and great memory. He loved sharing facts about history, music, science, and math. He had a special interest in geometry and designed very beautiful and complex geometric shapes from common materials such as straws, sticks, and paper.
John will be missed and remain in our memories forever.
There will be no visiting hours at Newcomer Funeral Home.
The family will have a private family service with Deacon Frank Iannarino.
John's internment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
