John R. "Jack" Jenkins, 71, formerly of Wintersville, OH, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, OH with his family by his side.
He was born in Steubenville, OH on December 6, 1940, the son of the late John and Florence. Jack was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Sue and sister, Janell.
Jack was the owner of Jack's Fish & Chips in Wintersville from 1981 until 2003.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dorothy (Mellott); two sons, John R. "Rob" (Tammy) and Todd R.; sister, Beth (John) Knouff; grandsons, Tim and Matt, all of Grove City, OH; as well as many other family members.
A private gathering was held by the family.
