John Adebayo Kilanko, 73, of Columbus, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was born November 30, 1933, in Ibadan, Nigeria, son of the late James and Sarah Olonade Kilanko. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a sister, Abigail Alamu. He is survived by his wife, Abigail Kehinde Kilanko; daughters, Esther (John) Makanjuola and Debbie (Adeolu) Adediran; sons, Isaac (Oyenike) Kilanko, Samson (Olajire) Kilanko and Phillip Kilanko; grandchildren, Temiloluwa Makanjuola, Samuel Makanjuola, Jeremiah Makanjuola, Bolutiwi Kilanko, Sijibomi Kilanko, Iyanuoluwa Kilanko, Jesubori Adediran, TiwanJesu Adediran and Jesufewa Adediran; brother, Joseph Adekunle Kilanko; nieces, Iyabo Adediran and Omolola Adegbenjo; nephew, Babatunde Alamu. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 5:00 PM at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church 3650 Sunbury Road, Columbus, with Pastor William T. Cox, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus.
