John F Kovatch

John F. Kovatch, age 53 of Galloway, OH, passed away on December 27, 2021. He was born on February 13, 1968 to the late Albert and Yvonne (Attard) Kovatch in Wayne County, MI. John is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Anna (Janecke) Kovatch, children Joseph, Emilie and Ryan Kovatch, many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Victor Kovatch, and aunt Grace Kovatch.
He graduated from Trenton High School in 1986, graduated from Michigan State University in 1990 with Honors, graduate Magnum Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City in 1994. In 1996 he was Michigan Chiropractic Society Sports Rookie of the Year. He was a beloved generous/beloved chiropractor in the Columbus area for 25 years.
He coached youth floor hockey at the YMCA for 10 years. He was a boat captain and mentor for the Hartley Hawgs High School Bass Fishing Club for 7 years, both sons were members. In 2015 he lead his son Joseph to the Ohio State Championship and to the National Northern Championship to a 2nd place finish. Founding member of JCBA Fishing Club of Jackson, MI.
He loved to bass fish from sun up to sun down.
