John Lewis

John Lewis, 72, passed away July 14, 2023. John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and caring wife of 48 years, RuthAnn Lewis; children, Laura (John) Ray, John David Lewis, and Kevin Nolan; beloved grandchildren, Amanda, Abby, and Alec; furry companion and guardian, Jesse; beloved sister, Sandy (Joe D'Amico) Sellers; sisters, Debbie, Lynnie (Rob), and Millie; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. John was preceded in death by mother, Doris Farmer; father, Joseph Lewis; loving siblings and best friends, Joe, Joan, Jack, Jerome, and James.

John was a 30 year employee that retired from Central Ohio Transit Authority and member of Local #208. He enjoyed vacationing with his family, watching Ohio State football with his son, and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 3-6pm at the Scarlet Room, 262C West Lane Ave., Columbus, OH 43201 (OSU campus). There will be a speaker at 4pm and food and drinks will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the American Cancer Society or the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center.
