John Malone, 83, of Gahanna, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. He was born October 28, 1928 in Vinton County. John was preceded in death by parents, Jacob and Edna Malone; two brothers and two sisters. He retired from Rockwell International with over 36 years of service. John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Louise Stroup Malone; sons, Roger (Holly) and Steve (Atonya) Malone; daughters, Debra (Bob) Avery and Brenda (Jim) Adams; brothers, Don (Cheryl) and Bill Malone; sisters, Vera (Hiram) Sells, Norma (Wes) Yohey, Patty Malone and Beatrice Camp; twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter, April Michele. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Christian Center Church 298 Rocky Fork Dr. S. Gahanna, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
