John David Manning

John D. Manning, 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away March 31, 2024. He was born on January 16, 1962.

John always had a smile on his face and a very contagious laugh, he was a big kid at heart. John met his best friend and the love of his life, Laurie and together they created a beautiful life filled with fun and laughter. John was a wonderful and fun father and grandfather and loved spending time with them. John loved his extended family, and was always willing to help when needed. He never knew a stranger, people were so drawn to his personality. John did nothing in half measures, he was an artist, very creative, and energetic. John was considered a master carpenter, and loved to teach others his skills and trades.

Surviving family includes, Wife, Laurie (Laemmle) Manning, Son, Michael (Bethany) Manning, Son, Nick Manning, Step-Son, James Smock, Step-Daughter, Elena (Jacob) Reckner, Grandchild, Vincent Reckner, Grandchild, Keegan Reckner, Grandchild, Eli Reckner, Grandchild, Josephine Manning, Grandchild, Waylon Manning, Sister, Tonya (Jim) Hunley, Niece, Allie (Matt) Monst, Nephew, David Ogden, Brother-In-Law, Mike (Sherry) Laemmle, Brother-In-Law, Mark (Lynn) Laemmle, Sister-In-Law, Vicki Rockhold, Brother-In-Law, Danny (Cindy) Laemmle, Sister-In-Law, Mary Schaub, Sister-In-Law, Anne Laemmle, Sister-In-Law, Barb Robinson, Brother-In-Law, Richie Laemmle, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 1pm to 3pm at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
