John R. Mehrle, 80, of Grove City, passed away February 25, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Helen Mehrle; brother, Tommy; sister, Jean and granddaughter, Christy. John is survived by his wife, Julia; sons, Mike (Pattie) Mehrle, Danny Mehrle; daughter, Sandy (Carlos) McCown; grandchildren, Olivia, Isaac, Dustin, Bobbie Jo, Trent, Brandon, Cassie, Verlin; great-grandchildren, Naomi, Jalen, Caleb; brother, James Mehrle and sister, Rose McKinniss. John was a veteran serving in the US Navy and a member of the 82nd Airborne. He enjoyed playing Bingo. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Thursday, March 1, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Chapel, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, Ohio 43137 with interment to follow at the cemetery.
