age 48 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his home. Jake is survived by his mother and step-father, Donna and Kenneth Thompson; son, Nicholas (Cindy) Rock; brothers, Frank, Steve, and Jeff Rock; sister, Judith Rock; step-sisters, Yvonne Malashevitz and Debra Singer; grandchildren, Anna, Alexia, and Adam; nieces and nephews, Crystal, Amy, Tonya, Kenny, and Jamie; special friends, JR Thompson and Mr. & Mrs. Hedley; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Rock, Sr. and grandmother, Lola Rock. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway Avenue, Grove City. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday with interment following in Concord Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.NewcomerFamily.com.
