John D. Ross, 86 years old, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 25th, 2010.
John was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, and loving wife of 63 years, Alice Ross, son and daughter-in-law, James, Sr. and Alice Ross, brother Leroy Ross and great great granddaughter, Jackie Rieser.
John was survived by his loving sons, Edward (Tiffany) Ross, Dean (Esther) Ross, Sr., sister, Deloris (Tom) James, eight grandchildren: Dean Jr., Jason, Hope, Sheila, James Jr., John, and Edward Jr. Ross, and Trisha Herderick, seventeen great grandchildren: Joshua, Michael, Jennifer, Christina, Paige, James III, Mackenzie, Amber, and Amanda Ross, Jessica, Devin, Dylan, Tyler, and Ashley Rieser, Anastasia Cearns, and Michael Herderick IV, Kristen Nesser, five great great grandchildren: Aiden Hall, Cameron and Haylee Shaw, She'lynn Perdew, and Christian Dahlman, and ex-daughter-in-laws, Mary Brooks and Debra Lannom, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29th, 2010, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on June 30th, 2010, 11:00 AM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Interment immediately following in Grove City Cemetery (Old).
