John G. Rost,64, of Columbus, OH passed away on May 10, 2023.
He was born in Cleveland, OH on August 27,1958 to the late Clarence and Margaret (Dzurik) Rost.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Elizabeth Wentworth, and Margaret Scott. Surviving family includes his loving wife of 18 years, Kathy; Nieces and nephews, Sarah Locke, Katie (Nick) Hilton, and Chelsea (Matt) Lanning, Francesca, Alexandria, Maggie, Nicholas, Harrison, and Johnathon. His grand-nephew Kyle (Emily) Locke and his grand-niece Addison Lanning, and his great-grand-niece Kenzlee Locke.
John was an avid Nascar fan and proud cat daddy. He loved to press his luck at the casinos and loved making friends wherever he went. He was a colorful story-teller with a large personality. It was an honor to be part of Big John's world.
