John R. Sampson, 55 of Columbus passed away July 17, 2006 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1951 to Eura and Eva Sampson. John worked for Northway for several years, and enjoyed deer hunting, bowling, and camping. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Eva Sampson; Brothers, Charlie and Larry Sampson. John is survived by his loving wife of over six years, Debbie Sampson; Father, Eura Sampson; Mother-in-law, Darlene Kirk; Sons, J.R. (Becky) Sampson, Zachary Sampson; Daughter, Tina Sampson; Step-Daughter, Brenda Davidson; Step-Son, Randy Coons; Grandchildren, Bailey Sampson and Sissy Davidson; Step-Sister, Debbie Smalley; Sister, Debbie Shepherd; Brother, Gary Sampson; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Messages of Condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
