John Luther Stivers, age 58, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022.
He was born November 22, 1963, in Columbus, OH to the late Stephen and Judith Stivers.
John was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a great love of music, and enjoyed playing the guitar. However, nothing meant more to him than his faith and his family.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, John "Bub" Matthew Stivers; sister, Christina Quayle; nephews, Michael Quayle Sr. and Wesley Stivers; mother-in-law, Helen Salyer; brother-in-law, Mark Salyer; and beloved dog, Kody.
John was survived by his wife of nearly 36 years, Michele Salyer; children, Summer Kinder, Michael Walker, and Shannon Stivers; son-in-law, Robert Bell; brother, Steve (Camille) Stivers; sisters, Marci (Eric) Wurzauf and Stephanie (Chris) Stivers; as well as many other family and friends.
Per John's wishes, services will be private.
