John Tinney

John Tinney, age 60, of Columbus passed away on November 17, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1962 in Sutton, WV to parents John and Carol Tinney. John is preceded in death by his sister, Melinda Anderson; grandparents, John Basil and Yula Tinney, Franklin and Eula Fisher.

John is survived by his wife, Kathy; parents, John and Carol Tinney; sister, Amanda (Jim) Altieri; children, Joshua Tinney, Curtis Tinney, Rachel Tinney; and many other family and friends.

John worked as a union electrician with IBEW 683 and Atlas for 30 years. He loved his animals, Levi, Beau and Frankie. He was an avid OSU fan and enjoyed fishing during his free time. John loved to travel to the Caribbean Islands and hanging out with friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m.
