John Vanderhoogt, 70, passed away June 7, 2013 at the Morrison House in Zanesville, OH. Born March 15, 1943 in Leiden, The Netherlands.
He was preceded in death by parents, Pieter and Cornelia (Bouwman) van der Hoogt; sister, Elisabeth van der Schoor; brother, Pieter van der Hoogt.
John is survived by best friend and care giver, Richard Ketchum; step-daughter, Amy Francis; grandchildren, Rebekah Groves, Jordan and Dravyn Kale; ex-wife, Teena Krack; as well as nieces and nephews still residing in The Netherlands.
Visitation Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
