He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Della (Jenkins) McCarty, sisters, Ann, Shirley and brother J.R. Surviving family includes, wife, Valerie McCarty, daughters, Jamie (Steve) Lee, Amanda (Anthony) Kaylor, grandchildren, Anthony W. Kaylor, Alana Thompson, Maleya Thompson, sisters, Wanda, Gloria and brothers, Jesse and Gene.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
