Johnny Ray Epley "John", 37, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to Glory to be with his Lord on March 19, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia "Pat" Epley; foster mother, Ruth "Nanny" Edwards; grandparents, John E. and Rosemary (Archer) Epley; foster sister, Regina Evans. John is survived by his sister, Tezona (Damont) Miller, Sr.; brother, Leon (Karen) Epley; foster sisters,, Bonita Edwards, and Norma Penn; foster brothers, DeVern Edwards and Ken (Melissa) Owens; a host of cousins; and long time friends, Ashley Kruse and George Hall. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 7:00PM at Union Baptist Church, 3452 1st Avenue, Urbancrest, Ohio. Pastor E. Richard McDaniel officiating.
