Jon Ray Darnell, 51, of Ashville, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2003 in Columbus. He was born Jan 28, 1952 in Fayetteville, Tenn, the son of John and Clara Darnell. Mr. Darnell was a Vietnam War Veteran and was employed in the trucking industry. Survivors include his wife Sharon; daughter Michelle Darnell; sons Ron, Jeff (Maria)David, Jimmy and Jonny Darnell; sister Linda Darnell; brother Jerry Darnell. Friends may call 5-8 PM Wednesday at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 818-1188, where funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
