Joseph A. Michels, 76, Galena, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Grady Memorial in Delaware. Joe was born in Chillicothe, OH on May 13, 1934, to William H. and Edna M. (Spence) Michels and is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen and Adeline Michels and Dorothy Clark; brother, Robert Michels. Survivors include his sons, Ronnie (Mary) and Randall (Saundra) Michels; sister, Shirley Ajax; brothers, Harold and Walter "Bill" (Helen) Michels; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; companion, Ellen Cluck; former wife, Martha A. Michels. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH is honored to serve the Michels family.
