Joseph Opoku Boahen, 58, of Columbus, passed away August 3, 2024. He was born in Ghana on May 18, 1966 to Ansare Boahen and Adwoa Serwaa.
Along with his wife, those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Ruth, Rita and Maybell; two sons, Reuben and Gideon.
Joseph was a dedicated truck driver for over 14 years. He was passionate about making sure things were completed right and with honor. Joseph was a family man, he loved to spend time with his family. He always made sure they were set. When he wasn’t work, Joseph loved to watch soccer with the boys. Soccer was his favorite sport and Liverpool was his favorite team. Joseph always made sure he looked good. Shopping was one of his favorite things to do and he never left the store without a suit. Joseph was a man of God, he went to church every Sunday and was apart of any event they had.
A service to honor Joseph’s life will be held from 9am to 11am, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231. Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville. The Newcomer Family is honored to serve the family
