Joseph Michael Gallagher

Joseph M Gallagher of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 15, 2023 at the age of 74.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Bonita (Mcburney) Gallagher and his wife Sandra (Kramer) Gallagher.
He is survived by his son, Michael Gallagher and daughter, Christina Gallagher, both of MA; his sister, Helen (Gallagher) Neptune, and nieces Dawn (Neptune) Warrick, Mandy (Neptune) Lawrence and Noel Neptune; as well as his two step-sons, Justin Messenger and Tom Messenger and his children Kaley and Kaden Messenger.
Born in Barnesville, Ohio, he moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend Columbus College of Art and Design where he graduated in 1970 and taught there for several years. He was a typesetter for Dwight Yaegers and Sloane Graphics before he retired.
An avid artist, he specialized in pen and ink drawing with water color washes. He designed ads and marketing for Columbus area stores and businesses.
He attended Evangel Temple in Gahanna for many years, where he went on several trips to El Salvador to build churches.
Services will not be held at this time. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
