Through God's grace, Joseph (Joe) entered heaven on July 7, 2022. Joe was the son of Joseph Muckensturm II and Jan (Pearson) Duffey.
Joe loved to go fishing, play the guitar, ride his bicycle, listen to classic rock and read the Bible. He loved being around family and friends and his laughter could fill a room. He was preceded in death by his father in 2014, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother and her spouse Lin; his sister, brother-in-law, and nephews Holly Hendrickson-Mulford, John Mulford, Grant and Nolan Hendrickson, Ayden Mulford of Westerville; his brother, sister-in-law, and nieces Dan, Loni, Erika Morelock, Jessica and Jennifer Nickerson of North Carolina; brother and nephews Jonathan Currey of Guam, Jack and Zane Currey of Tennessee; step siblings Clark (Jessica) Duffey of Michigan, and Felix Duffey of London.
A memorial service will be held on 7/23/22 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin- Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231, Calling hours from 3 - 4pm and service will begin at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
