Joseph E. Wilson, 70, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born August 15, 1940, in Columbus, son of the late Samuel and Margaret Johnson Wilson. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Hern. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy McAuley Wilson; sons, Joe (Danielle), John, Mike (Melissa) and Mark (Roberta) Wilson; daughter, Lori (Ron) Seitz; brothers, Sam (Erline), Steve (Karen) and Francis Wilson; sister, Brenda (Garrett) Worden; nine grandchildren and five great granchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00.
