Joseph William Wright, Jr.

Joseph William Wright, Jr., 61, of Columbus, passed away August 15, 2023 at Mount Carmel Grove City. He was born in Columbus on April 18, 1962 to the late Joseph W. and Norma Jean (Hysell, Booth) Wright, Sr. He married Della Wright, and she preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are children, Nick Wright, Toni Barber, Gordon Wright, and Drew Petelis; step-son, Brandon Bell; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Jeff Wright, Mike wright, Gilbert Booth, Wayne Booth, Kenneth Kilgore, and Daniel Wright; sisters, Annabelle Chaffin, Julie Twigg Meyer, Shirley Kilgore, Mary Kilgore Hollar, and Tammy Wright; aunt, Cindy Booth; and many other family members and friends.
Joe served as a construction through out his years of work, mostly working as part of the 180 Demo Crew. When he wasn't working, Joe enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
A visitation to honor his life will be held from 4 to 6 pm, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Newcomer, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Cremation to follow at a later date.
