Josephine Marie Taschler, age 96, passed away on December 17, 2023. She was born on December 6, 1927 to her parents Tony and Josephine (Cusumano) DiBlasi. Josephine later married Thomas Taschler and together they had a beautiful life.
Jo and Tom enjoyed nearly 60 years of married life. They retired to Sun City West, Arizona, and enjoyed traveling, dancing, and playing bocci with their many friends.
Josephine is survived by her son Tim and daughter Teresa (Tim) Black, grandson Tom, sisters Antoinette Pupillo and Mary Bruce, sisters-in-law Rita Taschler and Dorothy DiBlasi, special niece Mary Ann Payne, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, sisters and brothers.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date and she will be interred next to her husband Tom at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
