Josh Roberts, 40, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio.
Josh was born on June 1, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio to Jerry and Brenda Roberts.
Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Mary Cornett and Virgil and Noni Roberts.
He is survived by his children, Jude, Noah, Anna and Talia; sister, Susan (Eric Kinser) Cornett; brother Tim Roberts; partner, Sharde Bouvier; parents, Jerry Roberts and Brenda Cornett; dog, F*cker and many family and friends, including special friend Bill W. whom he loved dearly.
Josh was a Union Carpenter for over 15 years. He loved being part of the Aiden & Grace Specialty Rentals family.
Josh was dedicated to the community of Columbus. He volunteered with multiple organizations, including DooDah, High Ball, ComFest, Hot Times, Inkarceration Fest, among others.
Josh loved to see people happy and was always willing to help those in need.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 , from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11:00am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. We encourage family and friends to share memories of Josh during the service. He will be laid to rest at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life gathering is being planned for Josh by his festival families to be held in Goodale Park (Columbus) at a later date.
