Joyce C. Crooks

Joyce C. Crooks, 93, passed away Aug. 26, 2022. Originally from Amsterdam, Holland and came to Ohio in 1952. Preceded in death by parents, William and Lottie Brinkman; husband, Cyril Crooks; children, William, Karen, and Sheila "Lori" Bockover; and a sister in infancy. Joyce is survived by son, Keith (Mindy) Crooks; step-son, Michael Crooks; grandchildren, Angie Sarka, Jimmy (Laura) Hutchings, John (Michelle) Hutchings, Samantha Sarka, Andrew Crooks, Maria Crooks, and two step-grandchildren, Morgan and Mason Inks; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Cade, Emma, Ellie, and Edith Hutchings, Brandon and Lamanda; great-great granddaughter, Emma.

Joyce loved dancing, music, camping, swimming, and playing cards. She will be remembered for her laughter and fostering family relationships. Joyce's investment in her family will be felt for generations.

Visitation Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 from 6-8pm at Newcomer, NW Chapel 10051 Brewster Ln., Powell, OH 43065. Funeral Service Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022 at 11am with an additional hour of visiting from 10 -11. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
