Gee, Joyce (Swickard) Last Saturday evening, after being heard exclaiming that this had all gone on long enough, Joyce went home. She was 90, had lived enough life for someone 120 and always looked stunningly 20 years younger than her age. She was built from hearty German stock. Joyce was a consummate caretaker and mother to four generations of children. She donated her time and talents everywhere possible. She loved her family, her church and most of all her God. She once joked that by the time she finally gets to Heaven she'll be old enough to date him! She died peacefully at home surrounded by family knowing she was loved. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gee, and most everyone else she knows. Joyce is survived by two sisters (also made from hearty German stock), Phyllis Casto (Dick) and Suzanne McGraw (Bill). She is survived by three daughters, Connie Enyart (Roger), Leisa Hunter (Don) and Gillian Hall (Kelly Kisner), grandson Alexander Gee (Audrey), her beloved great-granddaughter Jocelynn Gee, many more grand- and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Built with those strong German genes, Joyce thought she would outlive them all. She almost did! Join us in the Spring when the flowers are blooming and the weather is warm to tell stories, laugh and remember this magnificent woman, while visiting with those we don't often see. Let Mom do one of the things she loved most and gather us all together one last time. Another notice with details will be posted at a later date.
