Joyce E. Kellar, 73, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was born June 20, 1934. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George J. Kellar Sr.; son, George J. Kellar Jr.; daughter-in-law, Karen Kellar; twin grandsons; sisters, Irene and Hilda. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Denisea (David) Bowles and Deborah (Mark) McDaniel; sisters, Frances (Vernon) Martindill and Phyllis (Jerry) Hart; grandchildren, Ben, Beth, Halima (Alaa), Adnan, Bianca and Zach. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Deborah Kellar, officiating, and visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Mifflin Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
