Juanita B. Peto, 92, Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Franklin Lee and Ethel Shilling and is also preceded in death by her brother, Myron Shilling.
Juanita was born in Hancock County, attended a one room school house, graduated from Ada High School and attended Business School in Lima, OH. She was a court recorder and worked for the Veterans Administration.
Juanita is survived by her husband, of 65 years, George Peto; daughter, Nancy Peto; son, George Lee Peto; devoted canine companion, "Trixie"; nephews, David and James Shilling.
Juanita's memberships included the Marine Corps League, The American Legion, The Mott's Military Museum and The Boy Scouts of America. Juanita's life will be honored with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, 7:00 PM with Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
