Juanita Felden

Juanita Felden, age 73, of Grove City passed away on October 1, 2022. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late parents of Wilford Gentry and Mary Reuter. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Richard; sister, Bonnie Pagac; special nephew, Junior and stepfather, Bill Reuter.

Juanita is survived by her children, David (Hope) Mischka and Tania (Joe) Callewaert; 6 grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Juanita fostered over 100 children before adopting David and Tania. She was a nurse's aid for a short time and cared for her mother until her passing. She retired from the non-profit organization The Grand Aerie Fraternal Order of The Eagles. She held several different positions within the organization. These included bond fund administrator, funeral benefits estimator, front desk receptionist and victory administrator. Juanita was also a member of the Auxillary 3620. In her free time, Juanita enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis, and playing the organ. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Grove City. She enjoyed taking car rides to admire the beauty of the horses in Grove City. She loved babies and little ones and lit up watching them trick-or-treat during Halloween. Juanita was a kind soul and enjoyed cooking for others. Towards the end, she appreciated the ease of fast food and restaurants.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Memorial service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest, 3393 Broadway.
