Judith Ann Hemphill (Glaize), born in Detroit, MI on January 26, 1932, formerly of Buckeye Lake, passed away March 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by parents, George J. and Betty (Bletzacker) Glaize; husband, Joseph W. Hemphill, Sr.; daughter, Judith Mikel Johnston; and brothers, Sonny, Chuck, and Bobby Glaize.
Judy will be sadly missed by her large family, including her children, Mary-Joe (Greg) Pell, Joey (Denise) Hemphill, Betty Ann (Tim) Taylor, and Shirley Kaye (John) Perkins; son-in-law, Randy Johnston; grandchildren, Jeromie (Carla) Pell, Jessica (Seth) Miller, Josh (Miranda Corner) McCabe, Christopher J. (Kelsey) Slane, Joseph W. Hemphill III, and Robert Stone Sanders; great-grandchildren, Tristyn, Taylor, and Kensley McCabe, Olivia and Daxton Slane; best friend/sister, Mitzi Bechtel; lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Judy was a member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary Post 51. Judy made a great footprint in this life. Her legacy to her family is NEVER GIVE UP and try to be positive. She constantly looked for a "bright side." Her logic..."Where there is a will; there is a way." WE LOVE YOU to pieces MOM! You will be in our hearts FOREVER.
Visitation Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 12pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery (old), Grove City, OH.
