Judith Bates McClung, 61, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2008, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born to Charles A. and Donna (Gaddis) Bates Jr. on June 22, 1946, Judy is preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Lillian and Gale Gaddis and Charles A. and Anne Bates. Survivors include her mother, Donna G. (Earl) Coolman; sister, Jana (Robert) Elb; companion and fiance, Henry Bishop; aunt, Audrey Gaddis; numerous cousins and friends. Judy worked for CompManagement Health Systems Inc. as a provider service representative. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure or Disabled American Veterans.
