Judith E. Watson

June 5, 1942 — April 30, 2023

Judith E. Watson, 80, of Columbus, OH, went Home to Jesus on April 30th, 2023 after suffering a stroke attributed to A-Fib.

Judy was born in Dayton, OH on June 5th, 1942 and was the only daughter to George and Romilda Segerer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Segerer, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Son, Lawrence Pfeil, Jr. status is unknown.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Michael Millhouse), grandchildren Jocelyn, Jared, Gretchen, and Nathaniel Millhouse; loving companion of 18 years, David Harrigill, and (former) stepdaughter, Gwen Watson; as well and many friends and cousins.

Judy was a graduate from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics. She worked for Chemical Abstracts Service for 42 years. She was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority in college and an active Alumna. Judy loved to travel and was blessed with the opportunities to see much of the world. She was an avid Buckeye and Bengals fan, enjoyed playing bridge with friends, was a board member for Scholarship Opportunities for Success (a Central Ohio organization that awards scholarships to help women overcome financial barriers to education), and also showed her commitment to helping others by volunteering at the Worthington Resource Center.
Judy loved spending time with her family and friends, but nothing brought her more joy than being a grandma.

Judy knew Jesus is Lord! She had a personal relationship with Him, and we know that she is with Him now in glory; and one day, we will be reunited!
