Judith "Judy" Bozeman, 70, of Columbus went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2012. She was born October 4, 1941 in Canton, daughter of the late LeRoy and Alice Wilson Walker Sr. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bozeman Jr., brother, LeRoy Walker Jr. and former husband, Richard Bozeman Sr. She was a member of the Alla Chapter #21 and was also in the church nurse corp. for over 40 years. Judy is survived by her sons, Marcus Bozeman and Shannon (Phyllis) Bozeman; daughter, Crystal (Melvin) Shuler; sisters, Ondra Walker and Alicia (Ron) Yanoski; brother, Sammy Jackson; daughter-in-law, Debbie Bozeman; grandchildren, Rikietha, Ricky, Rateesha, Susan, Reva "Bend", Erica, Chynna "Chop Chop", Shannon, Corryne, Quintin "Q" and Melvin "Peanut"; nine great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and an extended host of family. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2188 Woodward Ave. Columbus, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
