Judy Griffith, 79, of Groveport, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, in Mount Gilead, Ohio.
She was born on December 26, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Denver and Evelyn Mills.
Judy was a member of Madison Christian Church in Groveport. She loved to watch football and cheer for her favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed collecting angels and playing chair volleyball with friends at the Groveport Senior Center, where they looked forward to her announcing "Game Point".
Judy is survived by her sons Scott Griffith and Eric (Shanna) Griffith; grandchildren, Steven (Taylor) Griffith and Kieli (Kaeritsy) Griffith; great grandson, Ryker Griffith; brother, Marvin (Vickie) Mills; sisters-in-law, Linda Mills and Rocky Mills; nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Michael J. Griffith and brother Ron Mills. Her brother, Nelson "Skip" Mills, passed away shortly after on September 5, 2023.
The family will receive friends on September 13, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231.
A funeral service will be held on September 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Road, Groveport, Ohio 43125 with interment at 2:00 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery.
