Judy Ann Marimpietri, also known as mamma Jude, peacefully passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 77 in Worthington Ohio. She was born on May 25, 1946, in Sharon, PA. She attended Brookfield High School. Judy was a cheerful, strong-spirited, funny, and devoted individual who cherished her family and friends. As a homemaker, she found joy in creating a warm and welcoming home. Judy had a passion for homemaking, gardening, camping, bowling, and travel.
Judy is survived by her Sister Donna (Sam) Comstock, Brothers James (Sue) Hassel, and Michael Hassel, Daughters Kim Majetich (Tony Lizzie), Michele Morris, Son's Scott (Lisa) Marimpietri, Michael (Linda) Marimpietri, nieces Lisa (Jean-Paul) Dame, Sherry Hassel, nephews Charles Hassel, James (Crystal) Hassel, Grandsons Anthony (Stephanie) Majetich, Aaron (Cassandra) Majetich, Ryan Kerr, Shane Fields, Michael Marimpietri, Landon Marimpietri, Payton Chapman, Granddaughter Olivia Chapman, great granddaughter Elliet Majetich, and great grandson Beckett Majetich, and Stephen Majetich.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Peter Marimpietri, mother Marjorie Raseta, father Charles Hassel, and stepfather Roy Raseta.
Judy's life will be celebrated at the memorial service on November 13th, from 4-6PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3047 East Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus Ohio, where flowers may be sent. Contributions in her memory can be sent to the Alzheimer's research, a cause close to her heart.
