Judy A. Sprouts

Judy Ann (Caldabaugh) Sprouts passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 13, 2023. Judy was born May 18, 1942, in Youngstown, OH to the late Philip and Gay Caldabaugh.

Judy grew up in McMechen, WV. She attended Scotts Beauty College and was a hairstylist at Lazarus Dept. Store Beauty Salon in Columbus OH.

Judy met Edward, who was the love of her life, when she was 16 years old. They enjoyed a loving beautiful marriage of 60 years. Judy would tell you it was 61 years!

Judy loved her family and her friends. Judy took great pride in her home. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and plants in her courtyard. Judy was an excellent cook and homemaker. She had an eye for decorating and fashion.

Judy is survived by her two sons, Brian (Cynthia) Sprouts, Chris (Grace) Sprouts, grandchildren, Benjamin Sprouts, Alison (Matt) Amthor, great grandchildren, Rhylee and Jaisey Amthor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sprouts, Siblings, Janice (Caldabaugh) Wheeler and Philip Caldabaugh.

Our family would like to thank the team from Capital City Hospice that cared for Judy. We will remember your kindness and compassion for her.
Our family would also like to thank her many friends and neighbors for all they have done for Judy.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20th from 1-3pm with a service to follow. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 21st at 10am.
