Julia A. Legg, 84, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Samuel and Ona (Duff) Burris, Julia is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Legg, Sr.; daughter, Julia Ann Cruse; son, Charles C. Legg, Jr.; sister, Lenore Witchlatch. Survivors include her sons, Terry (Sue) and Robert (Diana) Legg; daughter-in-law, Mona Legg; grandchildren, David, Chuck, April, Michael, Melissa, Brian, Deanna; many great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; numerous friends and family. Julia is a long time member of the Reynoldsburg VFW #9473 and a member of the Peace United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH, from 5-8PM with the service on Wednesday, September 26 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HomeReach Hospice, 3724 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43214. The family would like to thank Julia's granddaughter and her husband, April & Tim Kaser, who cared for Julia for the past 5 years. Messages of condolences may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com.
