Julie Waugh

Julie A. Waugh, age 50, of Dublin, passed away on August 31, 2021.

She was born on September 3, 1970, in Columbus, to Jim and Faun (Starr) Carpenter.

Julie graduated from West High School in 1989. Julie loved to listening music and her favorite was Matchbox 20 and Rob Thomas and cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets and talking about the game events with her mom was always a high point during hockey season. For the last 2 1/2 years, her "baby" puppy Jake brought her hours of joy and was her devoted companion, doting over him and he over her were highlights to her days.

Julie liked the simple things in life, hugs were one of her favorites, family and getting together with loved ones were high on her list, talking with friends on an almost daily basis and vacations, even the simple weekend get-a-way were things she always looked forward too.

She is survived by her children; Brandon Helcher and Melissa (Steven) Lamont; her father, Jim Carpenter; siblings, Karen Evans, Steve Carpenter, and Susan (Gary) Clark; Robert Boggs, Matthew Waugh; and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Faun Carpenter; sister-in-law, Liz Carpenter; and her aunt, Pat Oakley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 5-7- p.m., at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123, where a funeral service will begin at 7 p.m.
