Juliette Wells

Juliette "Judy" Wells, 87, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ July 27, 2021. Judy was born October 29, 1933 in Worthington, Kentucky to Clarence Elmer and Geraldine Lucy (Harris) Porter.

She loved to garden and especially spending time with her family. Judy worked at the former Spread the Word bookstore in Westerville, Grange Insurance and Kohl's in Westerville. She regularly attended Linworth Baptist Church.

Judy will be deeply missed by children, Denise (Mark) McDaniel, Allison (Bill) Kelley, daughter-in-law Dianne Wells; grandchildren Ben (Val) McDaniel, Stacie (Matt) Clark, Mark McDaniel, John (Masita) Poray, David Poray, Chad (Tatiana) Kelley, Ashley Wells (Fiance Adam Vetter), Zach Wells (Fiance Ashley Campanella), John Kelly Wells; great-grandchildren Tricia (Logan) Keeran, Brice, Katie, Hayden McDaniel, Amber (Ray) Duron, Tim, Garrett Clark, Rhys, Rylee Poray, Gavin, Hudson Kelley, Gwenie Vetter, Julian, Brady, Greyson, Bexley Wells; great-great-grandchildren Nolan, Mason Keeran; brother Jerry (Linda) Porter of Brandon, FL; sisters Connie (Jim) Nance of Proctorville, OH, Shirley (Foster) Ferryman of Asheboro, NC; sisters-in-law, Lois Doran, Barbara Sheils, along with many other family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years James Kelly Wells, children Becky Poray and Kelly Wells and grandson Tyler Keckler, sisters Betty (Bob) Smith, and JoAnn (Bob) Hinerman.


Visitation will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 5:30 pm until the time of service at 7 pm at Linworth Baptist Church 6200 Linworth Rd. Worthington, OH. Burial will be at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
