June Sturgeon

June Sturgeon, age 93, passed away on December 8, 2024. She was born in Mason County, West Virginia to the late Goldie Jacobs on November 26, 1931. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ariel; grandson, Jason Sturgeon; daughter in law, Rita Sturgeon; and two brothers. 

She is survived by her children, Sheila (Phil) Gressett and Gregory Sturgeon; grandchildren, Tara (Brian) Phipps, Tracy (Jeff) Barton, Chris (Amy) Tippett, Catherine (Richie) Brown, Mindy Sturgeon, Angela Jones; brother, Glen Litchfield; sister, Victoria (Paul) Addington; and 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, Finn. 

June worked at Columbus Pipe and Equipment Co. for over 40 years. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11:30am until time of funeral service at 1:30pm at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Interment to follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
