Junior Lee Farmer, 81, of Hilliard, OH passed away on October 22, 2012. He was born in Goodwill, WV on June 7, 1931.
He retired as a foreman with the division of water for the city of Columbus. He also retired from Nationwide Insurance after many years. Junior served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nora N. (Bell) Farmer, parents, Thomas Lewis and Sara (Spencer) Farmer, daughter, Connie Collier, son, Jeff Farmer, son-in-law, Steve Stultz.
Surviving family includes, daughters, Beulah (Ronald) Keaton, Carol (Allen) Orsbone, Ina Farmer, daughter-in-law, Ruth Farmer, sons, Jerry (Sue) Farmer, Allen Farmer, son-in-law, Mitchell Collier,siblings, Frank (Betsy) Farmer, Raymond (Nina) Farmer, Ruth Farmer, Helen Moody, Myrtle (Edward) Carver, Juanita (Don) Howard, Larry (Sue) Farmer, Sandy Mash, Mildred (Rick) Murphy and numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren and special friend, Carl, faithful son(dog) "Chico."
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, October 26, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastors Deborah and Bernie Boggs at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mount Carmel Hospice.
