Kaileigh Lynn Weatherington

Kaileigh Lynn Weatherington born on April 27, 2008 was given her angel wings on June 2, 2024. Kaileigh's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which one lives. Her big smile could melt the hearts of those around her and even though she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard.

Although Kaileigh's illness appeared as a challenge, she had the strength and ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. Kaileigh loved going shopping and camping, listening to music for hours and sitting in the sun spending time with her family and nurses.

Kaileigh leaves behind 3 amazing nurses that provided love and support that enhanced her quality of life.

Kaileigh is survived by her loving mother Nancy Weatherington; sisters Kayla Weatherington, Heidi Weatherington and Anastasia Harris; aunt Donna (Norman) Reed; uncle Tom Campbell; aunt Taresa (Joseph) Schrader; aunt Sandra Jones and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lowell Campbell, Katherine Spears, aunt Susan Campbell and her best friend Thor (K9).

Kaileigh gave the gift of life as a eye and tissue donor.

Visitation Friday, June 7, 2024 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
