Kareem Hasan Summers-Edmondson Jr. was born August 30, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio.
He was the son of Kareem Summers Edmondson Sr. and Iyana Gray. Kareem was 13 when he entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 27, 2021.
Kareem attended Colerain Elementary and Art Impact Middle School. He was an amazing student. Kareem was a smart, comical, and lively teenager who loved his parents and siblings very much.
He enjoyed playing video games with his friends and cousins. KJ most called him, cherished the joy and laughter of telling jokes with his father and uncles. He impacted everyone with his unforgettable personality and smile.
Kareem is preceded in death by his Great Grandmothers; Claudia Mae Summers Smith, Sarah L. Edmondson, and Helen Gray; his Grandmother Marguerite Guess, and special cousin Christion Isaac A. Shaw.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; Iyana Gray and Kareem Summers Edmondson Sr., his siblings; Tajuan Hancock, Najiyyah Reese, Asaan Dukes, Kareena Hancock, Kenise Summers, Kaseem Summers, Kai'yana Gray-Summers, Anastasia Hancock-Finley; cousin/brother, Cameron Keyes. Grandparents Gwendolyn Summers and Marvin Edmondson. Aunts and uncles Sean Edmondson, Germino Gray, Aaron Dukes, Kashonda Summers, Helena Gray, and Martenez Strong-Edmondson.
Kareem will greatly be missed, and his memory cherished by all.
The Reverend Madonna Gray, Eulogist, Pastor St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, Erie, Pennsylvania. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Service immediately following. Burial will follow in procession to Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville - OH.
