Karen S. Adkins, 58, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Virgil A. Buelow and Phyllis (Bolenbaugh) Garman on September 26, 1950, Fort Wayne, IN., Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Adkins. Survivors include her father, Virgil A. (Edna) Buelow; mother, Phyllis Garman; daughter, Jessica Adkins; son, James (Sandra) Jardine; sister, Cathy (Greg) Bosk; brother, Ronald Murray; grandchildren, Katherine (Shane) Wimberly and Suzanne Jardine; great-grandchild, Hope Wimberly; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A loving and giving person, Karen will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 7, 2009, 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
