Karen Sue Blackwell

Karen Sue Blackwell, age 74, of Galloway, Ohio, was surrounded with love when she went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2021. Born to the late John E. and Mary (Jackson) Markham in Columbus, Ohio on March 14, 1946. Karen was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald Markham, Richard Markham and James Markham; grandson, Austin Hunnicutt.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard Blackwell; children, Michael Blackwell, Pamela (Michael) Tackett and Mark Blackwell; sister, Debra (Raymond) Bussey; grandchildren, Kayleigh Blackwell, Nathan Blackwell, Adaline Hunnicutt, Garrett Hunnicutt and Faith Blackwell; sisters-in-law, Irene Markham, Carmen Markham; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Karen was a very dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.

The visitation will be on Friday, February 26, 2021from 4-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Immediately following the service there will be a celebration of life at the VFW where she was a member at: VFW Post 7005, 56 N Walnut Street, West Jefferson, Ohio 43162.
