Karen Ann Gray

Gray, Karen Ann, 70, of Johnstown, Ohio; passed away January 20, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to late Ronald Otto and Beulah Arlene (Brown) Marohl. She married George E. Gray on August 7, 1993; and he survives. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald; mother, Beulah (nee Brown); and brother, Larry Armentrout.

She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Stacy; and loving wife to George throughout her days. 

She was a 4H advisor for 30 years with the Pups & Pals 4H Dog Club. She always looked forward to the Hartford Fair and the 4H Dog Shows. 

 Along with George and Stacy, Karen leaves behind her brothers, Brent (Ally) and Mark (Donna); sisters, Rhonda Roland, Bonnie Armentrout; and Sherry (Kent) Goins; her two best friends, Debbie Cunningham and Lisa Hersman, who celebrated their birthdays and life together. 

Karen graduated from Johnstown High School, Class of 1973. 

Karen loved and adored her three grandchildren, Hayden Gray, Kaycee Campbell, and Chad (Brittany) Campbell; great-grandchildren, Koen Campbell, Paityn and Rylan Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. 

She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter, and immediate family. 

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 3pm to 5pm, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Columbus, Northeast; 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231. A service to honor Karen’s life will be held at 5pm, Monday, February 3, 2025; at the funeral home. The Newcomer family is honored to serve the Gray family.
